(Jesus said:) For I was ahungered, and you gave me meat: I was thirsty, and you gave me drink: I was a stranger, and you took me in:

Naked, and you clothed me: I was sick, and you visited me: I was in prison, and you came unto me.

Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee ahungered, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? St. Matthew 25:35-40

When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?

Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?

And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as you have done it unto one of the least of these my brethern, you have done it unto me.

Street Ministry

SOA Outreach: Street Ministry Team
SOA Outreach- Street Ministry
The Seed of Abraham Pentecostal Church was contacted by a local ministry seeking the support of South King County ministries willing to provide a meal and worship service for a homeless program. This request was shared with our congregation and we agreed to honor this request and confirmed a date.

At the first service a powerful Word was delivered along with a turkey dinner and all the trimmings. We enjoyed the opportunity to share the love of Jesus!
The team has literally taken this ministry to the streets and meets on the second Saturday of each month underneath the freeway at 6th and Columbia streets in downtown Seattle.

We provide non-perishable items, i.e., peanut butter crackers, granola bars, juice and other items. We minister God's Word and pray with people to receive Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Saviour.

God is truly moving by his Spirit all across the land. We can truly see the signs of the times of his soon return to get his people out of here. Bless His Holy Name!

Highlights of what God is doing at the Nursing Home-- Going to the Nursing Home has been such a blessing to me and to those who accompany me on first Sundays. I am so thrilled to know that it has been 11 years now. Pastor Bass called me up one Sunday after church eleven years ago to ask me, "Would you Like to take over the Talbot Rehabilitation Nursing Home Ministry?" I almost felt like falling out of the chair because it was such an HONORABLE question. I immediately said “YES Pastor I will.” I told her that I would not let God or her down and I meant that and it applies to Pastor Sharpe as well.

Since going all these years, the Lord truly does bless because God is there to meet (us) me. Sometimes I am by myself and sometimes I am not. One thing that God has told me is that, if nobody goes with you he said, "YOU GO, and I will Bless you." HALLELUJAH, I said "YES LORD!"

Those frail people just bless my soul, for some of them don’t have family members or children to come visit them. The services are held in the dining area for just the one hour, and it could be five to twenty at the most in attendance but it does vary. Some of the songs I (we)sing are songs of old and they will join in. Let me just mentioned a few: This Little Light of Mine, Yes Jesus Loves Me, He’s Got the Whole World In His Hand, I’m So Glad Jesus Lifted Me and there are others.

While they clap their hands smiles are on their faces, and that truly makes me happy. Some are gone on to be with the Lord, and that is a good thing, and some are still here. God always leads me to give them a good word from Heaven! Even in the state that they are in. Every once in a while old slew foot [the devil] wants to rise up and act ugly using one of the residents, but I tell him to get out of the service NOW! And he flees…Oh yes he does! [I am] so glad for the Holy Ghost!

A couple of years ago, I was weaning out my chain of necklaces and decided to give each one of the ladies a necklace showing the love of Jesus. It is that time again, and I was going to do that on the first Sunday in May and forgot them at home. So, I will be handing them out to them first Sunday in June. Those little ladies faces just light up and be just glowing with joy!  Now because it is Father’s Day next month, I will buy a couple of packages of hanky’s for the Men and hand them out to them. I am just excited to be doing this work for the Lord, for it is truly a ministry. I do want to thank Mother Lucille Williams, and Melody Duncan for they come with me sometime. Also, Evangelist Diane Poree' too! The Daughters-in-Christ go at Christmas time. There have been others down through the years too. Even Pastor Sharpe has come and Apostle Karon Williams. This Ministry is what God has put me over, through the leading of our late Prophetess Bass and now is in the hands of Pastor Sharpe. God has told me to go and do his work for him and I must do the works of him that sent me while it is day! I Bless his Holy Name!

I know most of them by their first name, and there is always a altar call at the end of each service. We are about winning souls for Christ no matter what illness they may have, what handicap they may have, or how old they are! I let them know that Jesus heals and he still saves today! PRAISE GOD!

In the past years, the Seed of Abraham team of ministers has ministered to many men at the King County Jail. More people than can be remembered have received Salvation, some filled with the Holy Ghost and others who were already professing Christ, were just blessed! The Lord showed himself strong in an afternoon service giving us a new experience that we as a team had not had before. On this particular afternoon we ministered to seven women. They first entered the room very cold and hard looking, not responding to any attempts to embrace the worship service of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Then a breakthrough came when Evangelist Pam Toyer sang her worship song, “One Pure Love” (written and copyrighted in her name as inspired by the Holy Ghost).

The message started in St John 3:16, and, if I were to give it a title it would be: “Why Do You Think You Were Created?” As the word went forth with power & authority, transformation began to take place in their attention. God’s word spoke purpose, encouragement, and life to women who were hurting. Those stony exteriors were broken down as God’s Word found each of them in their life’s situation and they came crying & weeping before the Lord. In concluding the service all seven came for prayer & four received Salvation.

Comments that followed the service, “This has been a wonderful experience,” and “What a great service!” Jesus is real and is yet moving by his Spirit! This was especially touching for me as the newly appointed women’s leader at SOA church (2007): that the Lord Jesus would confirm his appointment to this position by sending ‘seven’ women for their divine appointment with Him in his Word!
