Celebrating 42 years of Ministry!

|
| Pastor Lois M. Sharpe, Overseer |
And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists;
and some, pastors and teachers; for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body
of Christ.

Home Church
Headquarters for the Seed of Abraham Pentecostal Church is located at 246
Wells Avenue North, Renton, Washington 98057, USA.
The Seed of Abraham has answered the call of the Great Commission.
We have sent the Word of God over the airwaves into Eastern, Central and Southern Regions of Africa. Prophetess Bass and a
small ministry team have ministered in Zimbabwe, Malawi, Blantyre (Africa) and Vishakhaptnam, India. We are a place of refuge
for all who are poor in spirit, brokenhearted, captive, and in need of deliverance. We know this is the acceptable year of
the Lord (Luke 4:18, 19). Therefore, we will preach the gospel of Jesus Christ in its fullness and reach as many souls for
the Kingdom as God allows.
We are known for our uncompromising stance against anything contrary to the Word of God.
We hold sacred the principles of the doctrine of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We are taught, and we do preach holiness.
As
a joyful body of believers, we celebrate Jesus in every service. We believe in living free from sin-- not in it. We are taught
that after one has repented and received forgiveness for sins that we should receive the infilling of the Holy Ghost with
evidence of speaking in tongues as "the Spirit gives utterance" (Acts 2:4).
This power enables us to live holy lives
before the Lord every day according to St. Luke 1:75. We continue to rejoice as we see the Word of God come alive when we
"lay hands on the sick" and they recover, when we "decree a thing" and it is "established unto us."
The ministry's
outreach includes: Union Gospel Mission, Bread of Life Mission, Department of Youth Services (Youth Center), Teen Challenge,
King County Jail in Kent and Seattle Washington, monthly Street Ministry (downtown Seattle), Convalescent Centers and hospitals,
Alcohol Treatment Center, weekly broadcasts on two community access TV stations in Washington State, weekly radio broadcasts
covering 24 countries in Africa.
Under the leadership of the late Bishop D. V. Khobidi, the Seed of Abraham has acquired 52 churches
in Malawi and Mozambique, Central Africa. The late Bishop's son, Pastor Evans Khobidi, is now the Overseer of this International
Ministry. The Seed of Abraham gives financial support monthly.
Although we are fewer in number than in times past, the Lord still causes
his face to shine upon us and he gives us his peace as we continue to work the work that has been assigned to our hands. In
March 2009 we began 30 minute weekly radio broadcasts in Jerusalem and Bethleham, Israel. We are humbled that God has
given us this opportunity to preach in the cities of his birth, death, burial and resurrection, and where he will return again.
What an honor! We will continue taking the gospel of Jesus Christ to those who will receive Him.

On January 6, 2008, Associate Pastor Lois M. Sharpe, daughter of
the late Pastor, Founder and Overseer, Prophetess M. J. Bass, was oficially installed as the successor Pastor and Overseer
of this great ministry and all associated ministries throughout the United States and Central Africa.
Pastor Sharpe served as Church Administrator, Associate Pastor and
Vice President of the Board of Trustees for many years Working along side of Prophetess Bass. It is therefore the natural
thing that Pastor Sharpe continues to lead in the vision given to her mother, Prophetess Bass.
More importantly, she has an extraordinary revelation of Jesus and
walks under a powerful anointing of the Holy Ghost. The Lord has blessed her with wisdom, and understanding of people
and biblical leadership abilities.
Please know the Seed of Abraham church family appreciates your past
love and support and we are counting on it for the years to come. Please pray for this ministry as Pastor and Overseer
Lois M. Sharpe assumes expanded responsibilities to bring the Gospel to the world to continue to "Reach the Lost for Jesus!"
All nations are welcome here! The Lord has blessed this ministry.

Our Founder, A Leader Called By God Above...
February 22, 1917 - November 10, 2007
Mattie J. (Evans) Bass was born February 22, 1917
to Walter (Papa) and Monemia Evans in Ambrose, Coffee County, Georgia. She is the oldest of twelve (12) children. As a young
girl she recalled Papa, a Holy Ghost filled Minister, calling the children in from playing for a time of prayer, worship and
bible study. She was raised in Florida with her brothers and sisters.
Mattie married Joseph Sharpe and of this union,
two children were born, Lois Marion and Joseph Dalton Sharpe (deceased). In 1942, Prophetess Bass received her cosmetology
license from Sun Light Beauty School in Miami, Florida. She moved to Seattle, Washington in 1952, opening her own beauty salon.
Prophetess
Bass rededicated her life to Jesus in 1962 and was filled with the Holy Ghost five days after her conversion. God called her
to preach the Gospel in 1965. She completed Biblical Correspondence Courses and received two awards of achievement. Prophetess
Mattie Bass began her ministry as a pastor in the fall of 1967 in a small, store-front, corner building under the name of
'God's Pentecostal Prayer Mission'. Her leader, the late Bishop E. F. Morris, inspired and strongly encouraged her to be obedient
to God's call and the work assigned to her.
While overcoming great resistance to this ministry, including some pastors
and church organizations in the community, Prophetess Bass stood and God blessed the work. Many came to see this humble woman
minister the Word under the power and authority of Jesus Christ. Many souls have been and continue to be saved, healed and
delivered through this ministry! In 1971, the 'Mission' moved to a larger building (17th and Lucille Street) and was renamed,
Seed of Abraham Pentecostal Church- a name submitted by the late Pastor Larry Evans and chosen from a list of names by members.
This new name was adopted by the Board of Trustees.
The Lord continued to bless and add to the church until it became
necessary to find a larger building to accommodate the members which caused the move to our present location in Renton, Washington
in 1980.
After celebrating her 90th birthday (February 22, 2007) Prophetess Bass continued to preach at the Seed of
Abraham Pentecostal Church and accepted numerous invitations to minister outside of our church until her passing on November
10, 2007. She was admired by both men and women of the gospel because of her strong stance and values in holiness. She preached
the simple message of salvation through the shed blood of Jesus Christ by repenting of sins and being baptised in water and
in the Holy Ghost. God confirmed her ministry with many miracles and signs following. She inspired believers
to stand on the promises of God and fight the good fight of faith!
